With the advent of Internet let’s all agree that we are gradually getting more glued to social media which is affecting our reasoning, concentration and how we perceive stories. This is our little effort to focus and bring a little attention to our age old tradition of oral storytelling to the young ones. The storyteller for this session will be non other than .hindustani , co author of the book “Feathers, Fools and Farts”. And she will be narrating stories from the newly released book “The whispering mountains “ which feature one of the stories called the mother bird. Thanks to Puffin India for their kind endeavour.

Well ,here we are again announcing our literary walk that was supposed to be held last month but due to the turmoil in our state we couldn't make it happen. Uncertainty has become a part of our routine. Nevertheless we will give it a shot because it's worth it. That's the spirit we want our participants to come with. See you folks.

The third day of the 2nd edition of the Children’s Book Festival saw the formal release of the children’s book ‘Ting Ting Chaoro’, a collection of age-old Manipuri nursery rhymes and lullabies compiled by Pa Thawan and Sapam Sweetie.

With a renewed vigour we have come up with this fest which will aim to introduce the old world charm of book readings, of getting lost in our own thoughts, where the same story creates different imaginations in different minds.
Where getting the little hands busy and dirty means lots of colourful fun, where the little minds are creatively engaged and problem solving mindsets are instilled. Where the heart create interpersonal connections instead of isolating in this technological world.
