Dear readers,
Amidst the ongoing Parliamentary Elections 2024, we planned a cover story on the theme of ‘Our Constitution, Our Pride’. The Hubli-Dharwad district of Karnataka organised two mega events under this theme. The first was a heritage walk, and the second was a torch rally to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. Both events were led by District Incharge Minister Santhosh Lad, involving thousands of people as participants. A glimpse of the 7th Convocation@IBRoffice will also attract your attention.
A 22-year-old youth from Maharashtra mastered the skill of speedcubing while performing scuba diving underwater. He solved the Rubik’s Cube 20 feet underwater in the Arabian Sea and tackled ten cube puzzles underwater, keeping everybody surprised.
Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company conducted the largest financial literacy program involving 52,000 teachers and 808 schools. Similarly, Nizamabad's district legal services authority conducted a mega self-defence training program for girls. Under the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ campaign, Manisha Dutta of Mumbai, accompanied by 16 explorers, visited 80 coastal spots, showcasing India's maritime heritage and cultural diversity.
You will also get to read a few other engaging stories inside. The Dundlod Safaris of Shekhawati, Rajasthan, organized an incredible desert tour atop the Marwari horses, covering a distance of 350 km in six days. A teenager from Kanyakumari put his efforts into developing a safety helmet for the mining industry. The helmet has sensors to detect harmful gases, among other safety features. Meanwhile, the Chittorgarh Seva Sansthan of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, distributed 18,000 free helmets to road users to generate road safety awareness among the masses.
