It is not enough to take steps which may lead to a goal, each step must be itself a goal…..in the year 1984 Sri Siddalingeshwar Book Depot stepped into the world of Publication…”BASAVA PRAKASHANA” with an aim of upbringing the talented writers not only from Gulbarga but also throughout Karnataka…. thus giving scope for the writers and hopes for the readers……
In the year 2000-2001 Sri Siddalingeshwar Book Depot printed the school text books for the Govt. of Karnataka… with this it was another mile stone for Sri Siddalingeshwar Book Depot because it was the only publication of this region who printed the text books….. In the year 2002 Sri Siddalingeshwar Book Depot celebrated its silver jubilee in a unique way. Sri Siddalingeshwar Book Depot started another publication as “SIDDALINGESHWAR PRAKASHANA”, and published and released 26 books at that time…… the books were related to literature, computer science, art etc…….. There is happiness expect in the realisation that we have accomplished something……. since then SSBD celebrates its anniversary every year by releasing more number of books…….
