Today, as we complete 22 beautiful years of marriage, my heart is filled with gratitude to Krishna for blessing me with you. Our journey together has been like a sacred path where love, patience, faith, and understanding have guided us through every joy and challenge.

I truly believe that our union is not just a bond of this life but a divine connection written by God. Through every smile, every struggle, and every prayer, we have grown together spiritually and emotionally.

Thank you for being my companion, my strength, and my peace. May Lord Krishna continue to bless our marriage with wisdom, love, and harmony, and may our souls keep walking this sacred journey together for many lifetimes.

Happy 22nd Anniversary, my love.
With all my heart and prayers, always yours. ❤️🙏

Maha Shivaratri is the "Great Night of Shiva," a time for deep introspection, purification, and celebrating the union of Shiva and Shakti. Whether you are looking for a rigorous spiritual practice or a simple way to honor the day, here are the traditional rituals observed.
🌅 Morning: Purification and Intent
The day begins with physical and mental preparation to create a "vessel" for spiritual energy.
Sankalpa (Intention): After bathing (traditionally with water containing black sesame seeds), take a moment to state your intention for the day—whether it’s for inner peace, health, or spiritual growth.
Vrat (Fasting): Most devotees observe a fast. This can be:
Nirjala: No water or food (most intense).
Phalar: Only fruits and milk.
Sattvic: One simple meal consisting of non-grain items like sabudana or buckwheat.
🏛️ During the Day: Connection
The daylight hours are spent keeping the mind focused on the divine.
Temple Visits: Visit a Shiva temple to offer prayers and witness the energy of the community.
Abhishekam (The Holy Bath): If you have a Shiva Lingam at home, perform a ritual bath using the six sacred liquids, each symbolizing a blessing:
Milk: Purity and goodness.
Yogurt: Prosperity and progeny.
Honey: Sweet speech.
Ghee: Victory.
Sugar: Happiness.
Water: Purity.
The Bilva Leaf: Offer Bel Patra (wood apple leaves). It is said that Shiva is particularly fond of these trifoliate leaves, which represent the three Gunas (qualities) or the three eyes of Shiva.
🌙 The Night: Jagran (The Vigil)
The most potent part of Maha Shivaratri happens at night. It is believed that the planetary positions on this night naturally surge energy upward through the human spine.
Stay Awake and Upright: Keep your spine erect to allow the natural flow of energy. This is why many stay awake all night (Jagran).
The Four Prahars: The night is divided into four quarters (Prahars), each featuring a specific Puja.
Chanting: The simplest and most powerful ritual is the continuous chanting of the Panchakshara Mantra:
"Om Namah Shivaya"
Meditation: Use the stillness of the night for deep meditation. It is considered the best time to "disso
