So aluminum has a larger footprint in production because of the vast power needed in the smelting process. But, in a further example of the complexities of environmental impact, the overall carbon equation becomes more muddied.
Because aluminum is lightweight and cans make efficient use of space, less transport is usually needed than for plastics or glass, while less power is also needed to chill drinks in cans - particularly useful in tropical climes.

That means in some markets aluminum would actually not produce as much greenhouse gas there’s a potential revival for the aluminum can market. “But it’ll take three or four years to see if this is a real trend.”

Green clothing & sustainable fashion means that you are not enticed to buy them. Fast fashion is a termite that we can't figure out today but it's slowly eating away at our planet.

According to the clothes waste charity TRAID, the average garment is only worn 10 times before it is thrown away.
This diabolical disposable cycle is being fueled because:
First, clothes are becoming cheaper.
Second, As their prices fall, so does their quality.

And among all these fashion trends are continuously accelerating. And now with an added touch of greenwashing.

The first step in tackling this industry is awareness.
The more people who know about what's happening behind the scenes, the more we can start getting our voices heard and pushing for change.
