Curcuma, commonly known as Siam Tulip, is a beautiful tropical flowering plant from the ginger family (Zingiberaceae).
The plant produces striking pink, purple, white and other shades of colourful bracts above lush green foliage. What looks like a large flower is mainly made up of colourful bracts, while the actual flowers are much smaller.

π± Dormancy: After flowering, leaves may naturally yellow and die back. The underground rhizome can remain dormant and sprout again when conditions become favourable.
