Odisha OTET Exam 2014 Apply Online

Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack issued examination notification from the intending eligible candidates to appear Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2014 for selection of eligible teachers. Eligible Interested Persons are required to submit Online Registration on or before 10th Ocotber 2014.

CATEGORY -A (PAPER-I) -> Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education / 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) approved by RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India)/ Graduation with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education / 2 years Diploma in Special Education approved by RCI.

CATEGORY -B (PAPER-II) -> Graduation with at least 50% marks with 1 year Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.)/ 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education) approved by RCI/Higher Secondary (+2 or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. (integrated course).

OTET 2014 Exam Structure: [30 question on Child Development & Pedagogy; For other Areas - In each subject area 20 questions will be set form contents & 10 questions from Pedagogy. All 150 questions shall be of multiple choice type with four choices. Only one answer is to be chosen by the candidate.]

The Odisha Public Service Commission was constituted on April 1, 1949 after its bifurcation from the former Bihar and Odisha Joint Public Service Commission. The commission has acquired varied experiences and expertise in the matter of selection of personnel to various services of the government of Odisha during its functioning for more than five decades.
