Honoured to be given the chance to talk about something I care deeply about: our rich heritage of weaving, and a hot topic on everyone’s lips today- sustainability!
Here’s how working with weaver-artisans helped me achieve it: by taking me back to my “grass”roots (literally 😉) and introducing me to a time-held tradition of weaving water plants, dried golden in the sun, to make beautiful handbags and accessories out of!
All without polluting our rivers and air! 🙏🏼
