When the resilient man from കമ്പിളികണ്ടം visited Malgudi !

He picked up a hand-crafted Sheesham wood jewellery box made by rural artists of Saharanpur,UP and a painting done by Unni Parameshwaran.

Thank you, Babu Abraham-Sir, for supporting and spending so much time with us.

When our founder’s degree college hosted its Bangalore get-together, we at Malgudi Arts began searching for something more meaningful than a conventional gift - something that would stay in memory long after the reunion faded.

That search led us to the skilled artisans of Sohanpur, UP, and their exquisitely handcrafted Sheesham wood mobile stands - shaped by women who depend on this craft for their livelihood, and pour dignity, patience, and tradition into every piece.
