Pratvam Progs evolved from being just a hobby in school days into a source where people can order and customise gifts to perfect their occasions or simply make someone smile. I started Pratvam Progs in 2011, when people started to appreciate my art and showed interesting in buying it. Today Pratvam Progs aims to create unique articles customised as per demand to make you feel special and unique. E

ach artwork is painstakingly handmade with utmost care to create something that would put a smile on your face or someone special in your life. In October 2012 few of my quilled earrings was featured in Creative Gaga magazine, in their spend thrift section. Later in 2013 they featured a two page article that focussed on my quilled art works. It’s been a hot minute since I posted anything on here 😅
After a little creative pause, I’m finally back doing what I love — making handmade quilled birthday cards full of joy, detail, and dimension.
Every petal, swirl, and letter tells its own story 🌸✨

Fun fact: the base of these cards is made from old wedding invites someone dropped off for me — turning one celebration into another 💌♻️

Happy Krishna Janmashtami.

Tanjore painting has been something that I wanted to try for a while. This is my first tanjore painting and it is Venna Donga Krishna measuring 25 inches by 16 inches in dimension. Loved all the trials and errors that this journey had.

It's been a long time since I posted anything since I was re-evaluating steps to take to build Pratvam Progs again from scratch.

Gayathri mantra is a simple yet a power packed mantra. It has the power of transformation.

They say everything happens for a reason and that's absolutely true for this creation.

The base is 30 year old wood frame which my dad had bought. I put some texture and alcohol ink sprays more than 2 years back. But i didn't know what exactly I wanted to do to finish it.. Was using it as a background for photos, till one day I saw the mantra in acrylic mirror finish. At that moment it all fell in place. And this is the final output. I am in love with it.

Happy women's day to all the strong women who don't back out from taking the tough decisions. You are a powerful force to reckon with.
today's prompt is best decision. I guess my best decision was to find a place of solace in crafting during my tough times. Even today when I feel really low I end up creating something with my hands and by not limiting myself to any particular medium I have opened up so many doors to do trial and error and find new techniques. I love what I do.
