You can apply aloe vera gel — the clear, bitter, jelly-like substance — directly to the skin as a healing salve, or combine it with other ingredients in unique skin-soothing recipes.

DIY recipe 1:

Energising Green Tea Eye Mask

This homemade Energizing Green Tea Eye Mask will de-puff your eyes and reduce the visibility of bags! It is made with just 3 simple and non toxic ingredients.

Instructions:

Whisk together all of the eye mask ingredients.
Gently apply a thin layer of the mask to your under-eye area. Leave on for 3-5 minutes and gently remove with a wash cloth and warm water. Give your face a quick splash with cold water.

Notes:

You can store the leftover eye mask in the refrigerator for later use. Applying the mask cold, right outta the fridge, is a soothing treat!

DIY recipe 2:

Aloe Vera & Yogurt Hair Mask

This mask will help you to restore the lost shine of your hair.

Instructions:

Mix 3 tbsp of aloe vera gel with 2 tsp of yogurt and 1 tsp of honey with 1 tsp of olive oil. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and apply the paste to your scalp and hair. Massage the mixture for 10 minutes and leave it on for 30 minutes.
Rinse it with water and shampoo. Try to apply this aloe vera hair mask thrice a month to restore your hair shine.

You can also use our aloe gel as :

Moisturizer: Apply the gel morning and night to your face and body for deep hydration

Pre-shampoo scalp treatment: Wet hair, apply the gel to your scalp, and leave it on for 10 minutes before shampooing

Conditioner: After shampooing, leave the gel on your hair for five minutes, then rinse

Styling gel: Put a small amount of gel on your palms and style your hair according to your desired look
