💐 Flower Demonstration at Cumann na Daoine, Youghal 🌸

I was delighted to be invited to Cumann na Daoine this morning to do a flower demonstration with a wonderful local group.

There was a bit of chat, a bit of flower arranging, and plenty of greenery flying about as I showed how to put together a hand tied bouquet. I also shared a few little tips along the way, including how useful eucalyptus can be and how even the smaller pieces of greenery can be reused.

Cumann na Daoine does such important work in the heart of Youghal, and it was a pleasure to spend the morning there with such a lovely group of people.

A big thank you for the invite. I'm looking forward to returning again soon. 🌷

🕯️ A little reminder for a very special morning in Youghal 💛

Just a reminder that on 9th May we will have the annual Darkness Into Light event here in Youghal, alongside communities all over the world.

I’ve done a small window display in the shop to mark the occasion, and I’d like to say a special thank you to Orla for the loan of her lovely dress for the mannequin. It all came together beautifully.

One of the pieces in the display says:
“Alone we are one drop, together we are an ocean.”
That feels especially fitting for Youghal and for an event like this.

Darkness Into Light is such a worthwhile event in support of Pieta, and the work they do is so important. Hopefully we’ll see a great turnout again this year. 💛
