Living life with nature. I'm happy with the decision to close the garden In FULL BLOOM at the end of this month for the season, as I mentioned in the last post. Thank you so much to everyone for their kind comments.
In the meantime, watering and deadheading keep the garden pumping out the flowers and the colour in this continued drought. The butterflies and bees are very happy for that and that makes me happy too.
The garden is open every Friday and Sunday until the end of this month.

ANNOUNEMENT!
After much consideration we have decided to close the garden in FULL BLOOM at the end of this month for this season.
The garden is looking amazing because of constant work and watering, but we have had little to no rain for over three months here in this part of Ireland. We have a soil moisture deficit of over 90 mm and there is no rain due here for the foreseeable future.
It's causing me anxiety and it's a lot of pressure to present the garden to the standard I am happy with.
That said, this garden will look fabulous until we close at the end of the month, but then I'm taking the pressure off.
Please come and visit us, there are just seven more opportunities this month.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far.

ANNOUNCMENT !
I may be smiling but this drought is stressing me out.
Because of the prolonged hot weather the garden is already close to full bloom, so we're announcing 'PATTHANA IN BLOOM' which will run from now until...Well let's just see what happens.
We have a soil moisture deficit of over 90 mm here so we might have to close the garden early this year if we don't get rain soon.
The garden and tearooms are open every Friday and Sunday.
