I think this may well be one of the nicest things we have ever received from a customer.

Its not easy being a small retailer thesedays. Theres a lot of negativity about. Nearly everyday we're hearing of another colleague in trouble or another shop left vacant, either locally or in other towns around the country.

Retail is definitely in a state of transition and footfall might never get back to where it once was on our main streets, and sometimes you even question if anyone wants bricks&mortar shops in this age of unbridled tech-bro monopolies.

And then we got this letter from Hannah and you realise that somethings can never be fully replicated or replaced by Amazon, Temu or any of the other tech-giants seeking to reshape the world.

Another great night at The Driftwood Sessions in Red Books.

Thanks to our host Shane Kenny and to all his incredible performers tonight; Franko Doyle, Daniel Jordan, Pheme Glass, Owen Curran, Rob Martin, Declan Turley, Richard Williams, Richard King, Eoin Devereux, Alex Chandler and John Stewart.
