I picked up some rolls of t-shirt cotton across Europe. It’s made from up-cycled t-shirts made into reels for knitting & crocheting with. It’s soft, durable, cosy, quick to make up & a little bit stretchy. I made some lovely jackets and jumpers with it and I’m selling these for €80 each. If you want to try making one I’ll have a free pattern up for them too.

With this weeks news of fur farm bans rolling out across the EU and it finally being phased out in Ireland I am celebrating by crocheting with faux fur 🙌🏻

I spotted some fabulous multi colour cottons and fluffy threads in a yarn store in Holland and had to have it, lots more to make if I can focus on finishing one at a time. It’s easy to get carried away and starting too many projects 😜

As you can imagine, working with fragile leaves requires a lot of patience and a steady hand, but the focus of my work for me lies on the effect it has on the viewer, on the ideas that flow into the compositions and the thoughts the pieces can evoke.

Live your own adventure 🤟🏻 Ellen has been asking me for ages to crochet her something new so this week I worked up this crochet lace bohemian waistcoat with tassels decorated with her own wooden beads.
