*** Announcement ***

My time as a retailer is coming to an end at the end of the year, as my lease finishes up!

I want to thank all my customers over the past 4.5 years — it has been an absolute pleasure serving this amazing community.

There have been so many wonderful characters I’ve had the joy of serving: from the legend Tom Cunningham, Mary Quinlan who always treats the staff, Seamus Corbett with his five visits a day, Roger who I have yet to see in trousers (only the shorts!), The Model Michael Mullaney… and so many more. The village certainly isn’t short of characters!

A big thanks also to Woodhouse Estate and other local businesses such as Robert Fennell and family, The Cove bar and Whelans.

The shop wouldn’t have been the success it was without the support of the best team any business owner could ask for. Gráinne and Carmel — you have been the life and soul of the business.

To all the brilliant part-time staff — Éile, Jessica, Mary, Kieran, Cate, Christine, Ailbhe, Caoimhe, Ava, Sorcha — and to all previous staff, it was an absolute pleasure working with you.

I wish the very best of luck to Ann, Eddie, and Emer as Cunninghams returns over the door once again. I will be forever grateful to them for giving me this opportunity over the past few years.

We’ve had the best reviews, been featured on national TV, local radio, and in newspapers, and grown the business even further.

Thank you all for your support throughout it has been one amazing journey!

Hi all,

You might have seen the documents in relation to the Stradbally community development plan proposals in the shop, and picked one up.

If you have already filled these out please drop them back in to our staff for collection for the next round of feedback.

The proposals are now available for review, and the group encourages people to share their views through an anonymous online survey

Weekdays. 7.30am until 8.30pm
Saturday 8am - 8.30pm
Sunday. 9am - 8pm
