Not often we get to work on something as outrageously rare as this .
A 1902 suspension bike . Has been always kept in dry storage so in amazing condition . Twin gear shifters, tyre brakes and a crazy suspension frame that I’m still trying to figure out !!!
I wonder how many of today’s modern bikes will be wheeled into a bike shop for their 125 year service. I ll be putting in window display tomorrow with the kind permission of the owner so swing by and have a look . It’s an amazing piece of cycling history !!

Thanks to all our customers over the last few weeks for keeping the shop and workshop extremely busy, despite this terrible weather. All of our trade ins have been sold so we are back searching for clean used bikes. Trade in against a new bike, trade for instore credit or we may buy your bike outright.
We really need hybrids and mountain bikes that are clean and have been well maintained. Not looking at road bikes as we have a full stock in new and used. So if it’s in your garage, not being used, send me some pics on WattsApp 086 2510009 and we will try to get you sorted.
Must be clean and good condition. No rusty relics please.

Best of luck to all the riders at the Ras this week . It’s an epic race steeped in history . Without the trojan work put in over the years by Ger Cambell and his crew it would not happen . The stages this year are brilliant and tough . Stages 2 and 4 are going to be epic and as hard as I’ve seen . Well done to all in Laois for hosting the grand depart tomorrow.
Next Sunday in Dunboyne a new Ras winner will be crowned.
Make sure to come out if you live along this years route and cheer them all on. We are all hoping for an Irish winner this year .
