🏅 “A Kerry Odyssey” by Martin Moore, signed by him

In this book the author traces the military service of his grand-uncle, John J. Moore from his enlistment in the Royal Engineers in 1897 to 1914.

The story is a riveting account of an Irishman serving in World War 1 against the background of increased nationalist expression at home.

The study also contains a summary of the service of nearly three hundred Kerry-born ANZAC soldiers of the Great War.

👉 ANZAC is a term associated with the young soldiers of Australia and New Zealand that served in the Great War of 1914-1918.

🚂 The TRALEE & DI**LE RAILWAY by Michael Whitehouse still stirs the hearts and imagination.
