Did you know that your baby starts hearing your voice long before they are born? From around the 3rd trimester but perhaps even earlier, research shows that babies can hear sounds outside of the womb. Researchers also see that the response to outside noise grows stronger with age. In particular, nearing full term, the heart rate and activity of fetuses changes when they hear their mother speaking 🥰.
