The Kernan family have been involved in retailing since the 1920’s and are now in third generation ownership, under the stewardship of Anthony Kernan who joined the business in 1990. There was great excitement at Magherabeg National School as pupils received their very own books through the Letterkenny Rotary Club Books4Home initiative. 📚✨

In this video, Principal Barry Meehan speaks about the impact the programme will have on the children and the importance of encouraging reading from a young age.

We're delighted that Kernans could support this fantastic community initiative, helping to ensure more children have access to books they can enjoy at home.

Today was a very special day as the books collected through the Letterkenny Rotary Club's Books4Home initiative were delivered to the children of Magherabeg National School. 📚❤️

Kernans was proud to support this fantastic project, helping to put books into the hands of local children and encourage a lifelong love of reading. The initiative saw the community come together to donate quality children's books, ensuring every pupil received a book to take home and keep.

A special shoutout must go to our very own HR Manager, Mary Black, whose passion and dedication helped pioneer this initiative through her involvement with Letterkenny Rotary Club. 👏📖
