EAR LIGHTING TREATMENT
The candling procedure itself involves inserting a burning tube made of a material soaked in beeswax, which is called an ear candle, into the outer opening of the ear canal. This procedure is performed until the candle burns out to the desired length. During the procedure, the patient is lying on his side.
The treatment room should be calm and warm. The patient lies down on one side. Before performing the actual treatment, a light massage of the auricle is performed with a gentle cream in order to stimulate blood circulation in this area of the head. Which in turn supports the operation of the candles.
Then a lighted candle is inserted into the ear opening in such a way as to gently plug the hole and not stick deep into the ear. When the candle burns out to the desired length, it is removed from the ear and put out in a vessel with water. The ear opening should be gently cleaned of sediments released during the procedure.
Then the same procedure is repeated on the other ear.
The yellowish discharge may collect in the plug hole that was in the ear. This is normal. These are solidified essential oils, herbs, and wax that are released when the candle burns. Depending on the condition of the ear, there is more or less sediment.
The time needed for one candle to burn out is approx. 12 minutes, so you need approx. 45 minutes for the entire procedure.
ZABIEG ŚWIECOWANIA USZU
Sam zabieg świecowania polega na wprowadzeniu do zewnętrznego otworu kanału słuchowego palącej się rurki z materiału nasączonego woskiem pszczelim, która nazywana jest świecą do uszu. Zabieg ten wykonuje się tak długo, aż świeca wypali się do odpowiedniej długości. Pacjent w czasie zabiegu znajduje się w pozycji leżącej na boku.
Pomieszczenie do zabiegu powinno być spokojne i ciepłe. Pacjent kładzie się na jednym boku. Przed wykonaniem właściwego zabiegu wykonuje się lekki masaż małżowiny usznej za pomocą delikatnego kremu, w celu pobudzenia krążenia krwi w tej okolicy głowy. Co w efekcie wspomaga działanie świec.
Następnie wprowadza się w otwór słuchowy zapaloną świecę, w taki sposób aby delikatnie zatkać otwór, a nie wtykać głęboko w ucho. Gdy świeca wypali się do odpowiedniej długości wyjmuje się ją z ucha i gasi w naczyniu z wodą. Otwór słuchowy należy delikatnie oczyścić z osadów wydzielających się podczas zabiegu.
Następnie tę samą procedurę powtarza się na drugim uchu.
W otworze świecy, który był w uchu może zebrać się żółtawa wydzielina. Jest to normalne. Są to zastygłe olejki eteryczne, zioła i wosk, które wydzielane są podczas palenia się świecy, W zależności od stanu ucha jest więcej lub mniej osadu.
Czas potrzebny do wypalenia się jednej świecy wynosi ok. 12 minut, tak że na cały zabieg trzeba liczyć ok. 45 minut.
