Donal called in yesterday to sign copies of his new book Edged in Blue, a rock n roll odyssey with Rory Gallagher, a powerful portrait of Rory Gallaghers life.
Rory's rise, private nature and final decline are explored in this intimate music biography drawn from Dónal Gallagher’s close perspective. Set against Irish showbands, 70s rock and life on the road, it offers an emotionally charged portrait of a towering and complicated musical figure.
Plenty of signed copies in the shop so come and get one, quick!

Louise wrote the book she needed to read when she was going through difficult life events. Written with seering honesty and covering everything from heartbreak and recovery to eating disorders, this book feels like a gift to every woman walking a difficult path behind her. As she says, there's so much joy to be had if you take bigger risks and lead a bigger life. Please come and see her, you won't regret it.

Another dinger from Amanda Geard - Author

In Ireland, Maggie has grown up hearing her mother tell her the bedtime story of the glass key. It's a Nordic fairytale passed down by Maggie's grandmother Anna Swan, who mysteriously left her home one stormy night years ago, never to return. Now Maggie's grandfather has died and going through his things, Maggie is shocked to find a faded wartime letter, asking him to take in a baby. In that moment she realises that Anna Swan was a woman of many secrets.
This is a great page turner that kept me guessing till the very end. Perfect for the hols!!!
