🕯️ Beeswax Candle Making at Samhain 🍂

Join us for a cosy, creative workshop inspired by the ancient traditions of Samhain and the natural rhythms of the season.

Using beautiful beeswax from our own hives, you’ll learn to make hand-dipped, rolled and moulded candles, plus seasonal intention candles for protection, love, calm, abundance and grounding, using herbs and flowers grown on the farm.

Take home your handmade candles to bring a warm, cosy glow to the winter nights.

Weather permitting, we’ll also take a gentle walk to see the hives and learn about the bees.

Expect warm candlelight, autumn scents, folklore, creativity and a little Halloween magic by the fire — in the land where Samhain began.

The sunflowers are starting to flower, they are quite small this year due to lack of rain but the bees are busy working away on them.

The bees and butterflies are working away, enjoying the flowers from the green manure we have sowed.

We sow the green manures to feed the soil, we grow trees in the open ground, so when an area of trees has been sold, we clear the patch and sow in the green manure to feed the soil, which in turn benefits the pollinators when it flowers.
