Thank you to everyone who came to our Open Mic Night last night!

We had a wonderful mix of poetry, memoir, fiction, music and even a recipe for garlic bread (with the finished product available to sample 🍞).

Our Creative Writing Group is hosting an Open Mic Night on Wednesday 10th June at 7.30pm.
Contact us if you would like to be added to the performer list - we could love to hear your poetry, short stories, essays, flash fiction and music.
Each performer will be allocated 5 minutes.
Participation is not required - audience members and supporters are always welcome!

Lots happening today!

Illustrator brianfitzerillustrator dropped in to sign copies of his books and met our visiting risebookselling bookseller Maria from interbok_books in Stockholm.

⚡️BOOK LAUNCH⚡️

Celebrate the launch of Conor Forrest’s debut ‘Heroes of Light and Shadow’ on Tuesday, 3rd March at 6pm in Athy Library, Kildare with guest speaker John MacKenna.

In his debut, Forrest explores Irish mythology while raising the stakes for young Oisin. With the help of legendary troublemaker Fionn Mac Cumhaill, can Oisin prevent death and destruction? Or will modern Dublin find itself at the mercy of the mythical monsters it had forgotten?
