I have been trying to find the courage, the words and the strength to post this…
My flight back home did not go as I would have wanted it to—but we never know the greater plan of life and unfortunately for Big John (my Dad) his life on this Earth ended on the 27th of December. A day I have dreaded my whole life. I never wanted to be here without him. This man made me into the woman I am today. Our sense of humour (sometimes a bit sick 🫣😜), our love for all people, love for music and a good time! This had been the longest-most empty past two months of my life- I am trying everyday to find the joy and happiness in life as I used to and as I know he would want me to. But f**k it’s hard. I am a very happy by nature person. I find the joy in the little things but lately that has been hard to do. I do not know this person I am right now. Hoping to find my spark again, I know it’s in me somewhere, just so crushed with sadness currently it is hard to get it back. But as they say “Life goes On” and it does and I’m trying my best with each day I am given. Which would not even be possible without the love and support from my family, friends, neighbours, and customers at the shop. I sincerely Thank You for all of the kind words, hugs, flowers, cards, and especially for this treasure from Aiofe with Celebrate Through Glass. It’s so perfect. (And she gave me the waist and b***y of my dreams 🤩😂!!) Getting back into the shop is just the therapy this girl needs! For the month of March I will be at the shop:
