Allow us to introduce ourselves to you, Steve and Astra, we are a bit of a double act in every sense - here is our story. It all began about three years ago when Steve and his mum met for lunch in Swords, Co. While they were chatting they overheard a mammy
say to her young son, 'If you don't clean your plate, you won't get any dessert'. Upon hearing these words, memories of Steve's childhood flooded back to him, bringing a smile to his face. Steve’s mum and himself both looked at each other and laughed, as this was one of the many things his mum used to say to him as a child. The world is in the midst of a pandemic, and the future seems unpredictable. Steve thought back to overhearing that mammy and son and the positive effect it had on him and his mum. So he decided to make a collection of these sayings and share them with the hope of bringing some fun and laughter back into people's lives. So after many late nights of toing and froing with the idea and subsequently meeting Astra, the backbone of his life and now business partner, they have nurtured this idea into a reality, and Mammy Says This! Our charity partner is Cry Ireland (www.cry.ie). The charity raises awareness around Cardiac Risk in the Youth and Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and supports patients and family affected by the illness. will be giving a minimum of €1.00 donation for every item purchased through the website to help fund the charity.
