These garments were commissioned by who is the Artist in Residence with Galway Wool Co-op since 2023. She has spent nearly three years researching the best way to handle the Galway wool and discovered that worsted spinning is one of the best ways to handle strong Irish wool. The Galway yarn used to create these garments was as a result of a small pilot scheme which was funded by private investors in early 2025.
