Our insanely specced 2023 LCV Suzuki Jimny is for sale. This Jimny has a full set of Old Man Emu suspension fitted giving a 40mm lift to accommodate 16 inch Magpie wheels and massive 235/70/R16 BF Goodrich K02 tyres. It has an ARB winch bar with a 10,000lb ARB winch and 9inch ARB Solis spotlights. The ARB Base Rack includes the ARB light bar and Nacho corner utility lights. These have all been immaculately fitted including a neat roof grommet for all of the wiring. A James Baroud awning completes the roof set up. Everything operates from a factory styled light panel under the dash and completing the interior set up is a Tail Gate Gear rear door table. New this, new that ! But the RidgeMonkey Sandwich Toaster is still the most used pan in my kitchen. Honestly I am on my second pan, the first one lasted five years and the non stick was just not great any more and it made cleaning it more and more of a chore. My second pan is now about 18 months old and still immaculate. This is the new granite version with the improved non stick. So if you are new to these pans put one in your camp kitchen, you won’t regret it. These are also currently 25% off at Buckledwheel.ie

The ARB Intrepid was new to us at Buckled Wheel this year. A quick trip to Silverstone in it earlier in the summer suggested it was a great tent, but ultimately a month on the road in it would really answer the question. As always the devil is in the detail. The most important thing is that the tent closes with its Intrepid thermal liner, my own mattress topper, sheets and covers in it. Pillows have consistently ended up in a bag in the car and the tent does feel ‘full’ when closing it without adding pillows. The thermal liner is a game changer for the cooler nights at high altitude and great for helping keep the condensation away, the continued access to windows and the storage area is well thought out. The window and door zips took some getting used to but now I get the ‘logic’ it works well. Red zips for fly mesh, grey zips for solid covers means you open the right zip every time. The colour coding was a trade off against the glow in the dark zip ends of the Esperance, which is a miss. Opening and closing is as easy as a clamshell and the four clips to close ultimately will give a better seal and a bit more reassurance on staying closed off-road. The internal height is the highlight of the tent, giving plenty of room for changing or just an afternoon chilling out. Will this be coming off the Landcruiser for some of the new model tents coming in 2027 ? I would say no, this one is a keeper.
