We've been receiving a lot of messages lately so we thought it was best to post this here.....

Our shop both physically and online are now permanently closed. Our kilns are no longer firing and the potter's wheel has stopped turning here at Kiltrea. We understand that you still want to add to your collection or want to replace an item that has been broken, but we simply do not have any stock left and are not producing anymore.

We again, sincerely thank all of our customers for their years of continued support and we hope that you enjoy your Kiltrea Pottery for years to come.

Today the craftspeople of Ireland, especially the potters, mourn the sudden and untimely death of fellow potter Michael Kennedy of Michael Kennedy Pottery, Gort, Co. Galway.
Michael's skilful pots were imaginative, quirky, artistic creations as cheerful as was Michael himself. Our thoughts are with his wife Mary ,their children and grandchildren. RIP.

We are now officially on our Christmas Holidays as all our collection slots for December are now closed.

We would like to wish our loyal customers a Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2021.

This is the real Santa (joulupukki in Finnish) and Mrs Santa who live in Lapland with their very own Culchie Mugs (all the best people have them!). He has been officially cleared to use Irish airspace this Christmas, so we hope everyone gets what they wish for this year....well deserved after 2020! We are sure Santa will enjoy a nice hot chocolate in his Kiltrea Mug when he returns from his travels!

Unfortunately, we are sold out of Culchie Mugs but still have some lovely Cereal Bowls, Dessert Bowls, Serving Bowls, Nibbler's Jars, Utensil Crocks and a small number of Plant Pots available for collection in January. Our online store will remain open over the holidays should you decide to treat yourself or a loved one!

Our last collection date is Saturday 12th of December, orders for this date can only be taken up to Thursday 10th of December.

We have added extra collection slots now for Friday 11th and Saturday 12th (morning & afternoon).

So it's your last chance to buy that special Christmas gift! We have sold out of many items but we still have Jugs, Small Serving Bowls, Cereal Bowls, Dessert Bowls, Nibbler's Jars, Utensil Crocks,and a small number of Plant Pots available!

These would make a lovely gift....pair our Nibbler's jar with some lovely treats, our Plant Pots with a Poinsettia or maybe a Buxus with Christmas lights or even our Utensil Crock with some new tools for that budding Chef!
