Not even 24 hours launched and the response has been brilliant. I’ve been up until the wee hours humbled getting deliveries ready to here and abroad, reconnecting with old friends, and the generosity has been fantastic. It’s for a great cause and I’m delighted to help a brave little boy in his fight.

It’s the first from my capsule collection and I will be releasing more super stuff, watch this space, here’s a reminder of this wonderful product.

1st from the capsule collection are these adorable baby and toddler hats. Made of bamboo they are super super soft, hypoallergenic, wicking and eco friendly. The hat is fully reversible, just undo the top knot, also means no itchy seams. Available from sizes newborn to 2 years old.

These will be available by pm/email/WhatsApp etc and will not be on Etsy. They will be €12.50 each, a least €2 from each will be donated to a fundraiser by the family of a super Super Hero little boy.

It’s been a very long time since I posted but it’s purely down to how busy we’ve been. Accountants, business managers, photo shoots, new products etc etc... it’s been a busy busy time but I love it.

I’ve been in the studio every day and most nights since I started there and through the relationships I’ve built up with many clients business is great.

All of this is only achievable with the support network around me, my Mam has been an absolute hero, my Aunty Catherine, my teenage boys who collect and deliver all over Dublin, and my husband who’s the sounding board, God love him.

So where I’m at now, I’m launching a clothing product in the next day or two with a superb client, I’m so excited and it’s a huge step for the company. I’m reinvigorating and introducing fresh products to the Bunu line of the company. We’ve already had loads of requests for our Christmas cards for example.

The parent company will soon have its own page live and will make more sense. Bunú will be back to all that is fluffy and pom-pomderful

*Big news coming*

I’m not even 2 weeks into my studio full time and I couldn’t be happier.

4 big contracts, collaborating with local brands, Mommy made industries, even pet products. I’ve really hit the ground running.

Though this weekend sees my first of many big additions. I can’t say what it is for a few days, but all I can say is upstairs in my premises is a studio, and it will be cameras, baby, action and they will be modeling my............ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I’ve done it 🕺🕺

After nearly half my working life working in retail, and managing some great places and meeting many friends for life on the way, I’m going out on my own.

I’ve gained a lifetime of experience from River Island, H&M, Asperations, Blacktie, Forever 21, Holland & Barrett and of course Wed2b.

I’ve worked in many countries including America, Spain, England, France and Ireland with these great companies, and now I’m using all this and I’m hitting the ground running.

During the lockdown, while not wanting to be idle, I joined a group of fantastic sewists making masks for critical care workers throughout the country with our organisation masks4allireland. This inspired me to network and create my own little business, which I grew and worked extremely hard to realise my dream. 100 hour weeks for over a year have paid off and I saved every penny to get where I am today.

I got my two story studio in Charthouse business Park on the Richmond Road 3 months ago, my mother Bernie became my forewoman, and with loads of help from my family we set the plan in motion.

Today is my first ‘official’ day working in my new studio, Saturday 21st August 2021 at 10a.m. It’s functioning as a working area for me, but I still need to finish it off over the next 2 weeks to open to the public, just little additions internet access, a bit of plumbing all that Jazz, but I hope to be open fully functional by the end of the month.

I want to say thanks to my Hubby who has always believed in me, my Mam Bernie who without this none of this would be possible, my Dad, my Aunties Catho and Helen, cousin John, Pawel, Ian Lacey and everyone else that’s offered help and support.

I’m so happy ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My 16 year on and off career in the wedding industry is nearly over, maybe by the end of the week.

I’ve been in my studio every day and night when I’m in the wedding shop and I’m so close to moving in full time I can touch it.

Hopefully in 4 days time I will be telling the world that I’ve my own business, my own two story studio, a huge support network of family and friends and 4 massive contracts which I can now devote everything to.

It’s so close now 😳😳😳

I officially started work today behind closed doors in my new studio.

I’m still double jobbing with the Wedding business but took a day off that just to soak up my new studio on my own, and start work, just me, my favourite sewing machine and I 😂😂. The other 4 have to wait.

I can’t wait to to be situated here full time in less than two weeks, will keep you all posted for the big opening, Prosecco all round 😊
