Meet real Wedding Shop couple Collette and Simon. They met whilst performing in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at The Theatre Royal. Simon proposed after they had been together nearly 3 years on Collette’s 31st Birthday.

The newlywed couple kept their guest list quite small, made quite a few decorations themselves and had help from family and friends. Asides from the venue, their biggest expense was their incredible photographer - Tom Halliday Photography

We had the opportunity to ask Collette and Simon why they chose The Wedding Shop and what their top wedding planning tip would be, here is what they said:

“If I were to give any advice to couples planning a wedding, I would say, remember that it is a day for you and your partner and that's all that matters. Spend money on the things that will last a lifetime but don't worry about trying to please everyone.

We chose The Wedding Shop for our list as we loved the idea that you have the option of choosing specific gifts, as well as honeymoon funds (amongst many other things!). It was lovely to see people adding to the list with their personal messages as the wedding drew nearer. The Wedding Shop was so easy to use and I would highly recommend it to anyone - there are so many options!”
