Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen..
today is a very sad and emotional day for us as @ 5pm this evening we will be shutting our doors for the very last time..

We have been overwhelmed with all the kind and generous words that you have shared with us over the last few weeks, we truly didn't realise the impact we have had and we have shed many tears with long standing customers who have turned into great friends..

We would again like to take this opportunity to thank everyone over the years for your loyalty and support and also the memories we will take with us. We have truly appreciated everything.

We wish all of you the very best for the future. I will be checking this page from time to time so always feel free to drop in and say hello, we would be delighted to hear from you..

and should any of you be around Dublin City today, we invite you to pop in once last time..

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying the weekend..!!
It is with great sadness that after 58 years in the Jewelry trade and 44 years since we opened the doors of Irish Rubies that we are now closing those doors for retirement.. :(

Irish Rubies has been such a huge part of our lives and we will sadly miss it and miss all the great loyal customers we have had since day 1.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support over the years and for the lasting friendships we have made.

With that, we would like to invite you all to come in and say hello, our doors will be open till the 3rd of August. We our holding a retirement sale on every item in the shop, everything must go, so you are welcome to Haggle and we look forward to it..

TIP:
Want that ENGAGEMENT RIGNG to sparkle like new for a night out don't have time to get it cleaned by a professional..?
Well here is a super tip for you..

Pour some tepid / lukewarm water into a bowl, add a teaspoon of vinegar & lemon juice. Leave sit for a least an hour, then with a SOFT (not medium or hard) thistle toothbrush, rub over the diamonds softly and around the claws for a minute... Do this lightly and then rub with a shamy lightly... and notice the difference..

Why this works... The whole concept with the vinegar and lemon juice is that it will break down the dirt and grit that gets caught behind the claws and some oils etc that get caught on the stones.... when you rub it after... it comes off easy and restores the prism effects to their full capacity...
