🥈 Congrats to young gun Sam O’Brien who continues his fine season with a superb second place finish at the Dublin Pitch and Putt Gents Junior Strokeplay Championship at a beautifully presented Old County Pitch & Putt Club.

👏 Well done also to Barry Keogh on a strong second round to finish top 16 and to David Crum and Brian Walsh who along with Barry represented the Club in the Inter Championship.

Congratulations and well done to the prize winners on a lovely pleasant afternoon on the links.

Congrats also to Ger Ward who finished runner up in the Dublin
Ladies Senior Strokeplay.

🏆 Following the success of the inaugural ladies scratch cup yesterday, it was the turn of the gents today and another great day for the Club as we welcomed players from across the country….

👏 Congratulations to Eamon Gibney on a fantastic win on -20 and to all of the below winners on the day, defending champion George McGreal put up a great defence with second and third rounds of -9 and -8 to finish runner-up on -18 and Gary Healy continued his fine form in between picking up UEFA coaching badges to finish third also on -18. Tadhg Harrington completed a successful week on the peninsula with best final 18.

🙌 The Kildare men had their say in both the Inter and Junior grades with Ben Phelan and Sam Murphy winning respectively with the home Portmarnock players John Brady and Noel Wearen in runner up spots in their grade respectively.

👏 Honourable mention to Dave Poole Junior who co-led into the final 18 finishing on -16 alongside club mate Tom Ryan.
