I've donated my painting

'NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE'

to this auction to raise vital funds for The Dublin Simon Community to help combat our huge problem of homelessness in our city. The auction run by Gormleys is now live online until December 15th. The exhibition can be viewed in person until December 10th at Flux Studios, Chatham Row, Dublin.

Now in its 3rd year, artist John O'Donnell has done an amazing job again gathering 115 lots. These include, paintings, photography, jewellery, memorobilia & with pieces from some famous faces too!

So lets help open some doors this Christmas & change some lives for the better. My painting is lot #90 ... please consider making a bid or sharing this post so it reaches a wider audience. Every little helps.

Very happy to have been shortlisted for best International artist in the VAA Artist Of The Year awards.

My watercolour & ink painting titled 'ANGUISH' was painted in response to the many atrocities that are going on in the world around us.

I haven't posted on my art page in way too long. Belated new year's resolution ... 'must do so more often!' Here are some recent loose watercolour & mixed media paintings inspired by a new year's eve drive through The Wicklow Mountains. Textures, colours, weather & the atmosphere I experienced that day were all brought together in this group of paintings. I'll never get tired of capturing these mountains & hills in paint. They are a never ending source of inspiration to me. All are small sized 18cm × 25cm except the last one which is a bit larger ... A4 in size.
