The J-Reiff Fendt Classics series documents key innovations in Fendt tractor history. Part 5 features up-to-date footage of 55 tractors from Fendt’s Farmer and Favorit series, which wereintroduced between 1977 and 1985. Featured are appearances of the uncommon Fendt Favorit 622LS, also known as the “Nasenbär”. The documentary meticulously stages key models in authentic field operations, showcasing soil preparation and harvesting processes enhanced by a variety of genuine implements from that time. Farmer and contractor Josy Reiff has meticulously assembled the world’s largest collection of vintage Fendt tractors over recent years and is the driving force behind this project. Just incredible! John Deere’s plant at Mannheim in Germany has produced its two-millionth tractor. About 3,300 employees help produce 40,000 tractors each year at the site, before the machines are exported across the globe.

The Spring Farm Machinery Shows kick off the 2023 machinery and agriculture calendar today with the Fibrus Balmoral Show January 25th to follow and ending with the hugely popular Cavan Show on February 1st. All events are sold out for trade stands but visitors are more than welcome to come see the large array of exhibits.
