I’ve always been a little reluctant to share customer reviews and lovely messages here. 🙈 I think because my focus has always been on making the orders, choosing the books and putting all the little details together, rather than talking about what people have said afterwards.
But I’ve received so many wonderful reviews and messages and they genuinely mean more to me than I can put into words, so I thought it was finally time to share a few. 🥹💕
There’s so much thought, care and handmade detail that goes into each Blind Date with a Book. From choosing a book I hope will find the right reader, to designing and making the bookmarks, ephemera, paper details and little surprises myself, every bundle is put together by hand with the hope that it feels genuinely special to open.
I think that’s one of my favourite parts of what I do sitting down and actually making the little things that will eventually become part of someone’s reading experience. 📚
So when someone comes back to tell me they’ve discovered a new favourite, got back into reading, found the perfect gift, or simply had the loveliest time opening their mystery book… it honestly makes my day.
These reviews are such a wonderful reminder that all those little details really do matter. ❤️
