The highly anticipated new novel from .ni.ghriofa , has arrived at last!
In Cork city, a derelict Victorian mental hospital is being converted into modern apartments. One passerby has always flinched while passing the passing the place. Had she lived in another time, she too might have found herself within those walls. The for sale notice she spots becomes the first of many signs. Following them, she finds herself drawn into an irresistible river of forgotten voices, those of the women who knew this place best. They murmer from archives and old records. They haunt from stairwells and walls. In them - and in one figure in particular - she may find meaning, solace, rage, her own salvation...or perhaps her own vanishing.
'Said the Dead' is a work of sublime intensity and tenderness.

We were thrilled to welcome in author (and neighbour!) R.P. O'Donnell. His debut novel 'All the Old Clocks' is a brilliant piece of 'cosy crime' set in West Cork. Young village librarian, Emma Daly, is trying to prove a man innocent of murder. Together with a stubborn widow, an elderly hypochondriac, and a charming ex-boyfriend she finds herself at the centre of a mystery that threatens to tear the whole village apart.
A launch party is being held at Thursday 23rd April at 7pm and books will be available to buy on the night.

Over the past few days, we've been so touched by the kindness, messages and support you've shared with us since our announcement. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
As we begin to prepare our Bookshop for its next chapter, I just want to gently remind anyone who has a Kerrs Bookshop Gift Voucher tucked away in a drawer or wallet to please call in and use it over the coming weeks.
It would mean so much to see you in the shop, to chat about books, and to say thank you in person for being part of our story. This place has always been about community, conversation and connection - and that's something I'll treasure forever.
With sincere thanks and warmest wishes, Trish.
