Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and we’ll be hosting a small, cosy Candle Cake Making & Decorating Workshop here at SLK Candles 🌸

Spend a relaxed few hours creating your own wax melts and candle cake from scratch, decorating with wax icing and sweet little toppings, while enjoying tea and treats along the way.

It’s a lovely experience to share with your mum, gift to someone special, or simply take some time for yourself 🤍

Workshops will run on Mother’s Day:
10:00am – 12:00pm
2:00pm – 4:00pm

Only 4–6 spaces per session to keep it intimate.

You can take your creations home with you, including your wax melts and finished candle cake, boxed and ready to show off 🥰

✨ Reintroducing - and sharing a snippet of the story behind the silence ✨

If you’re new here through SLK Candles, this might be your first time hearing about Forever Flex.
And if you’ve been here since my Canadian days — hello and thank you for finding me again 🤍

I’ve never fully explained why Forever Flex went quiet. Forever Flex was my first business, my baby 💖. A girly fitness brand I poured my heart into — every colour, every piece designed and chosen by me for women to feel confident, strong, and beautiful. It was something I could focus on and feel empowered by while I was going through so much behind closed doors, and I loved it deeply.

But almost 4½ years ago, everything stopped — not because I stopped believing in my business, but because I had to leave Canada suddenly and start over somewhere safe. I had to walk away from my life, my home, my work, and my business, leaving my Forever Flex stock behind in storage. It was never meant to end that way - it was simply all I could do with my stock at the time.

Last summer, after 3½ years, those products finally made their way home to me in Ireland. Receiving them was emotional — a reminder of a life I had to leave behind. It took time before I felt ready to open those boxes, let alone sell the products inside.

In the years since, I rebuilt myself and my creativity through SLK Candles. Candle making became such a healing process for me 💖
Now, bringing Forever Flex back — gently and on my own terms — feels like honouring where I started. 🥰

We've had a busy few weeks preparing for the holiday season and we can't wait for you to see our stunning new back wall display of candle bouquets 😍! We've been hard at work adding new shelves, crafting fresh candles, and adding beautiful festive pieces to our Christmas Collection 🎄

There's still plenty to do - wicks to tie, tins to label, prices to display, new designs to demould and add to the shelves along with many more Christmas newbies to arrive in the coming weeks. ✨

We're thrilled to welcome you back to the shop tomorrow! Get ready to indulge in amazing new scents, with 28+ new fragrances being introduced over the next few weeks. Reopening tomorrow from 12-5.30pm 🤗✨.
