After two great days full of stories hardwork and craíc in the workshop Grainne , Oliver, Lisa and Paul have completed their stools and are ready for a pint in Spillanes in the Maharees and then onto the Milesian for a well earned dinner.

I've had the privilege of having young local wood working enthusiast Kai Owen with me for a week of work experience from the Meán Scoil nua an leithh Triúigh Castlegregory this week . He will do well as a maker in the future he has a great ability to take on new skills and also work as part of a team. thanks Kai for a great week . below left Kia knocking out chair legs.

The advanced armchair course the last full week of courses this year, with two fine makers Patrick Madigan and James Galvin. Thanks to them both for a great week ,lots of laughs and good music . hope to see you both again.
