Following on from the advice of the RSPB I have removed all my birdfeeders. However I have reserved a perch for my special friend Blanco beside my seat in the garden. No other bird is allowed use it.
Blanco and I established a relationship last year. What surprised me was that after going AWOL over the winter, when he reappeared in late Spring he responded immediately to my "Hello* call.
So, an enduring friendship but useless in the pottery.
