Siopa Glas Ballon Siopa Glás is a Thrift Community Shop in Ballon Co. Carlow managed completely by local volunteers. It is a real curiosity shop for all those who like to browse.

Everything sold in the shop has been donated by members of the community. Siopa Glás is a thrift community shop in Ballon Co. Carlow run completely by local volunteers. We have a great selection of clothes, shoes, bags, bric a brac, books, antiques, furniture, toys. . all volunteers are very welcoming and helpful to all our customers. All monies taken go towards the upkeep of Ballon village, School, local charities.

Kind volunteers collect bags of items from us every few weeks.
Any suitable items ie
Small toys colouring books pens crayons etc
Also toiletries etc etc.

Adelina from Romania lives with her parents and four siblings. Her eldest brother supports the family by making money building fences. Adelina’s Christmas Shoebox brought her so much joy. Beautiful gifts for her and her alone for the first time!

My Teddy bear hospital will swing into action next week. I have some treasured bears and dolls that need attention. I have have them all wrapped up snug and safe. Now I can give full attention to them one by one. So watch this space for up dates. Xx
