Wingnut Athlone We're an Irish independent record depot based within The Sound Factory, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Wingnut Athlone is an offshoot of Wingnut Records Galway.

Its siblings include Wingnut Waterford, Wingnut Limerick and its new twin in Tralee. We promote all-Irish stock from Irish indie-labels and acts. Great Irish releases from labels/collectives such as The Richter Collective, Out On A Limb Records, Rusted Rail, Popical Island, Flaming June, The Delphi Label, Sargent House (okay it's US but we're still stocking!) Cavellero Distribution, Smalltown Amer

ica Records, Anyother Cityrecords as well as many more labels along with tons and tons of self releases. Any acts that have merch/CDs/vinyl/tapes that they want to retail though the store are more than welcome to get in contact! The fact that we're based in the Sound Factory in the heart of Athlone town means that we can offer some pretty cool in-store gigs! Support your local music scene!
