We made KIMCHI!!

This amazing snack is easy to whip up, even in Lombok!
There are many 'Proper' recipes online, but honestly, use what you have available and you'll still end up with a tasty, and gut friendly addition to your fridge! Just have fun with it.

We used a normal white cabbage, brined in salt. Added Gochujang paste (ordered online, but you can use red pepper flakes, and there are heaps of substitutes online), left to ferment for a couple of days until bubbles started to form and it had a tangy flavour. Transferred to the fridge, and boom!

Stir it into rice and veggies for a quick meal, add to egg, noodles, whatever floats your boat!
