Idefab 35 Years of Dedication to the Interior Design Industry

To celebrate Idefab’s 35th anniversary we are proud to present two special collaborations that reflect our journey and passion for design and craftmanship.

A photography exhibition by Mario Wibowo captures the processes, people and stories behind Idefab, offering an intimate look at the dedication that has shaped us over the past three and a half decades.

The exhibition reflects our values and story of continuous improvement, a commitment to our five step quality control process and a belief that excellent service is inseparable from exceptional products.

Alongside it, Rumanara Studio unveils a fabric installation and product launch, re-imagining and elevating the theme of Rumah Gedeg, Indonesia’s traditional architecture found across the archipelago.

Inspired by the handwoven bamboo wall of Rumah Gedeg, Rumanara Studioncurated fourteen distinctive textiles, woven to the installation structure through intersecting patterns, layered materials and fluid forms.

Fabricated by Idefab’s in house artisans in just three days, Rumah Gedeg stands as a testament to Idefab’s technical expertise, collaborative spirit and enduring dedication to craftmanship.

Idefab booth at IFEX 2026, designed by DMDIO , presents a soft architectural expression through layers of textiles.

Inspired by the art of mixology, The Loom Lounge explores how fabrics can be combined like ingredients—creating balance, depth, and atmosphere within the space.

Sheer fabrics take the spotlight, forming the booth’s architectural envelope and ceiling with flowing pastel layers of yellow and sage. These translucent textiles filter light gently, creating a light, airy ambiance that defines the character of the booth.

Complemented by outdoor fabrics in soft pastel tones, the material composition invites visitors to experience textiles not only visually, but through touch—discovering curated fabric pairings within a relaxed lounge setting.

The story behind the Idefab booth at IFEX 2026 — designed by DMDIO.

Inspired by the art of mixology, The Loom Lounge reimagines the booth as a space where fabrics are layered like ingredients—touch, mix, and feel.

Sheer fabrics act as the signature elements that defines the architecture and ceiling, while pastel colors outdoor fabrics bring softer layers of sophistication and balance.

Through curated “material recipes,” visitors are invited to explore fabric pairings in a warm, inviting lounge atmosphere.
