setup own server mastodon di Indonesia. https://mastodonindonesia.com/public , tidak pernah ada rencana sebelumnya. Entah ke depannya akan dibawa ke mana instance mastodon ini.

Mastodon adalah open source microblogging, source code bisa di download di github. Tidak sekedar mirip dengan twitter, tapi memiliki konsep unik , yaitu Desentralisasi data, antara server instance Mastodon bisa saling terkoneksi, saling kirim pesan, saling mutualan (follow), saling boosting (retweet). konsep ini disebut fediverse (federated universe). Mengingatkan Jaman BBS tahun 1990an dahulu, dimana masing masing admin BBS bisa saling menghubungkan BBS nya ke jaringan FidoNet.

Menariknya lagi, tidak ada Ads, Tidak ada Iklan, Tidak ada follower bayaran (mungkin belum?). Lalu bagaimana setiap admin membiayai kelangsungan hidup instance servernya ?, pada umumnya melalui donasi sukarela.
