When people hear Morocco, they immediately picture endless sand dunes. But Agafay is not that kind of desert.
It’s rocky, dry, almost like waves made of stone.
In the city, we were checking maps and looking for street signs. Out here, it feels different. You look at the sun. You feel the wind. Somehow, you just slow down.
One thing we noticed, the desert keeps changing colors.
Morning, noon, evening. It never looks exactly the same.
And what we loved most was the feeling. Sitting together, pouring mint tea, talking without rushing.

Biasanya kalau dengar Morocco, yang terbayang pasti hamparan gurun, tapi Agafay beda. Bukan gurun dengan pasir halus, melainkan bentangan batu dan tanah kering.
Kalau di kota kita sibuk lihat maps dan papan petunjuk, di sini rasanya lebih mengandalkan alam. Lihat posisi matahari, rasakan arah angin. Tanpa sadar, langkah jadi lebih pelan.
Yang menarik, warna gurun ini berubah-ubah. Pagi, siang, sore, selalu terasa berbeda. Dan yang paling kita s**a justru momennya. Duduk bareng, tuang teh mint, ngobrol tanpa terburu-buru.
