In 2026, โNatureโ is no longer just the landscape outside our window; it is the topology of data flows and the rhizomes of neural networks. When AIโs computing power becomes the new laws of physics, the boundary between the real and the synthetic dissolves completely.
Dimension Plus presents โHypernatureโ, opening this Friday, March 13, across two venues: the East Kowloon Cultural Centre and JCCAC.
The exhibition features three media art installations that have evolved from โdata visualisationโ to โAI generationโ:
Plants in โTTTV Gardenโ photosynthesise the spectrum of algorithmic hallucinations and biases; AI in โUnknown Mountains and Riversโ fills data voids to create a hyperreal, untrodden landscape where the map precedes the territory; and โEcological Poolโ evolves a de-anthropocentric mechanical rhythm of life within a closed algorithmic loop.
This is not a warning about the future, but an ecological cross-section of the now. Welcome to the new wilderness built by code.
