Created as a HULS Gallery Original, the Rinka Tea Cup is crafted in Arita, Saga Prefecture, a renowned porcelain-producing region with a history spanning more than 400 years.

The name Rinka refers to its graceful, flower-like form. The gently shaped rim and refined proportions bring a quiet elegance to the table, while the delicate porcelain reflects the craftsmanship that has been cultivated in Arita through generations.

Designed for enjoying Japanese tea as well as Chinese and Taiwanese teas, the Rinka Tea Cup brings together the long tradition of Arita ware and a contemporary sensibility. Its understated presence allows it to sit naturally within everyday life - a small vessel made to enrich the simple ritual of tea.

Hataman Touen’s Rim Mug, designed in collaboration with Hamano Takaharu with the vision of “pursuing the aroma and drinking comfort".

This mug adopts a barrel shape with a narrow opening that increases the intensity of the aroma of one’s beverage. The handle, designed specially for a good grip, is attached slightly lower than your average mug, thus lowering the centre of gravity and reducing its overall weight. This Rim Mug is a fine exemplar showcasing that both functionality and beauty can coexist.
