【Muze x Cypress 5th Anniversary “Cobra” Fountain Pen】
To celebrate our 5th anniversary, we have collaborated with Cypress to bring you the “Cobra” Fountain Pen!
🪵Cypress is a young brand established in 2018 in Taiwan whose aspiration is to produce writing instruments that would last a lifetime. Initially specializing in making wooden pens, Cypress has since expanded their repertoire of materials and techniques to include urushi, maki-e, raden, ebonite, metalcraft and unique resin materials.
🏁The Cobra has a pen body made of micarta, which is composed of layers of brown, gray and white fabrics that are stacked and held together by resin, producing a final look resembling the patterned appearance of snakeskin.
🐍Theclip of the pen is made of nickel silver, which features a cobra entwining a twig with its head raised and hood dilated. The detailed and layered carving makes the cobra so vivid that it seems to come alive in front of our eyes!
In Chinese culture, cobra is recognized as a guardian creature warding off demons and misfortune. In modern times, the cobra represents wisdom, transformation, renewal and self-awareness.
✍️ Pen Festures:
• Nib：Cypress duo-tone steel nib, available in EF, F, M and B.
• Section: available either in JOWO-compatible or Bock-compatible section - you may fit the Cobra fountain pen with any JOWO or Bock #6 nib of your choice.
• Refilling: converter or international cartridges
• Packaging: bamboo wooden box (made of Nanzhu 楠竹) with magnetic enclosure.
• Limited Edition: 200 pieces, each pen is engraved with its unique number.
Since the founding of Muze Pens in 2019, it has been five memorable years of ups and downs, achievements and challenges; our journey thus far certainly has not been easy. 【名筆館 x 快木文創 眼鏡蛇 五週年紀念鋼筆】
關於快木文創
快木文創是於 2018 年在台灣成立的年輕品牌，他們的願景是製作值得一生使用的書寫工具。 品牌最初專注於製作木筆，後來採用了更多材料和技術，包括漆藝、蒔繪、螺鈿、硬橡膠、金屬工藝和獨特的樹脂材料。
筆桿材質：Micarta
Cobra 的筆身由Micarta製成。 Micarta是20世紀初期開發的品牌，是由樹脂黏合在一起的紙張、亞麻布、帆布或其他材料的複合材料。眼鏡蛇鋼筆筆桿是由多層棕色、灰色和白色的布料夾成，透過樹脂堆疊並固定在一起，形成類似於蛇皮外觀效果。

Cobra鋼筆的金屬筆夾為鎳銀製成，呈現一條眼鏡蛇，纏繞著一根樹枝，它昂著首，蓄勢待發。細緻而富有層次的雕刻，讓眼鏡蛇栩栩如生，彷彿活生生地出現在我們眼前！在中國，眼鏡蛇被認為是趨吉避凶的守護者。 現今社會，眼鏡蛇代表智慧、蛻變、更新和自我認知。
快木筆尖
Cobra 配備了由快木文創特製的雙色鋼尖。 筆尖有EF、F、M、B四種選擇，書寫流暢、軟彈好寫。此外，Cobra 還備有 JOWO 相容或 Bock 相容握位 - 您也可以自行選擇任何 JOWO 或 Bock #6 筆尖搭配使用。
