今年為新大嶼山巴士 (嶼巴) 50 周年金禧紀念，早前嶼巴於東涌昂坪 360 纜車站停車場舉行「植根大嶼半世紀∙嶼巴服務五十載」慶祝活動，盛況空前。會場除了展出兩部古典巴士 — 利蘭勝利二型和丹尼士飛鏢，以及披上復古塗裝的 ADL Enviro400LH 外，亦同時有一系列嶼巴 50 周年金禧紀念商品發售

當中嶼巴巴士站牌模型首度登場，模型展現最新一代嶼巴站牌式樣，以 1/10 比例金屬製成，站旗印有 12 條路線，以四款底色展示，地點特別揀選東涌纜車站，與會場地點同出一轍。俗稱「乳豬盤」的資料盤則分別印有四條前往迎東、逸東、滿東及梅窩的路線資料，同時亦印有乘客溫馨提示和廣告，宣傳嶼巴手機應用程式

New Lantao Bus (NLB) is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2023. NLB held a celebration event at the car park of Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal in May, showing two retired buses, Leyland Victory MK2 and Dennis Dart, together with ADL Enviro400LH which carries retro livery. The event was a great success. Not only was it a great chance for photo-taking, the souvenirs were very popular amongst bus enthusiasts and visitors.

One of the hot items is the newly released 1/10 scale NLB bus stop model. This die-cast model represents the newest design of the NLB bus stop with 12 NLB routes on flag, and specially displayed as Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal which is the same location as the celebration event. The bus stop is equipped with two sides of the schedule holder to show the route information to other areas in Tung Chung and Mui Wo respectively. There are also reminders to passengers and advertisements to promote the NLB Apps.

繼 1/43 冠忠環島旅遊巴模型後，我們今年推出第二款同屬 1/43 比例的商用車模型。新模型為港日兩地常見的豐田第五代輕型客貨車，這款名為豐田 Hiace 200 的車款自 2004 年推出以來，以其載貨力高及可靠耐用等特點，一直獲得日本本土及海外用家好評

With the success of our 1/43 coach model, we are pleased to announce that the Toyota Hiace is chosen to be the second model to be produced in 1/43 scale.

Toyota launched the 5th Hiace generation in 2004, named as Hiace 200. With high capacity of cargo and reliability, Hiace 200 sold well in both Japan and overseas markets. Not only popular among the commercial users, Hiace 200 could easily be found in different government fleets.

Three Hiace from the fire department in Hong Kong and Japan are chosen for miniature under license by Toyota. The detailed models feature swivel front wheels, different versions of flashing rooftop beacons and mirrors, etc.. Three different versions are now available at networkshuttle.com for ordering.

中巴於 1993 年引入 10 部來自英國的利蘭奧林比安11米非空調巴士，為中巴最後一批引入的非空調巴士。雖然這批巴士並未安裝空調裝置，但全數座位均裝有軟墊，加上機件配搭與空調巴士無異，馬力強大，舒適度不遜於同期的空調巴士，固深受不少乘客及巴士迷喜愛

10 部利蘭奧林比安跟隨其他中巴一樣，於 1998 年過渡至新公司，及後再因應營運需要於 2000 年期間轉售，離開香港返回出廠地英國繼續服役

雖然這批巴士於香港服役時間只有短暫 7 年，但歷年來曾披上不少深入民心的經典廣告，包括是次推出的中巴熱線廣告。這個車身廣告沿用中巴常見的忌廉色及藍色重新設計，於車身大幅展示電話號碼，務求令街上的市民留下深刻的印象

CMB introduced 10 UK built Leyland Olympian 11 metres non air-conditioned buses in 1993, which were the last batch of non air-conditioned buses. Although these buses did not contain any air conditioning system, it made passengers comfortable as soft pad seats were installed which was an upgrade for CMB non air-conditioned fleets at that time. The Olympians were equipped with Cummins LTA10 engine and ZF 4HP500 gearbox, which were the same with the air-conditioned version and provided more power without carrying the air conditioning system.

The buses were sold to NWFB in 1998 and were transferred to England to continue their services in the early 2000s. During the 7 years of service in Hong Kong, the Olympians had carried different advertisements. One of the memorable advertisements shall be the CMB’s Hotline Service. CMB promoted its hotline service by showing large hotline numbers so as to catch pedestrian’s eyes.

為配合大嶼山南部發展而帶來的乘客需求，新大嶼山巴士 (嶼巴) 遂於 2018 年引入 14 部 ADL Enviro400LH 歐盟 5 型環保巴士，是繼 90 年代利蘭勝利二型後，再有雙層巴士駛入大嶼山南部服務乘客

這批巴士專為香港而設計，長度只有 10.4米，高 4.17米，較一般雙層巴士短小及矮身，可載客 88 人，車頭額外裝有樹擋，以應付行駛大嶼山郊區路段

ADL Enviro400LH 為第二批髹上嶼巴新色彩的車款，新塗裝以綠白間構成代表嶼巴 NLB 的 N 字，冀為乘客帶來全新形象

To cope with the development of South Lantau, New Lantao Bus (NLB) introduced 14 units of ADL Enviro400LH Euro 5 green buses in 2018. It is the second type of double decker bus that runs on South Lantau, after the Leyland Victory II in the 1990s.

These buses were specially designed for Hong Kong with only 10.4 metres long and 4.17 metres high. Although the Enviro400LH were shorter and lower than standard double decker buses in Hong Kong, the buses can carry up to 88 passengers. The buses were also equipped with tree deflectors and suitable for running South Lantau routes, where roads are narrow and curvy.

All of the NLB ADL Enviro400LH were painted in green and white livery with a big letter “N”, which is the abbreviation of New Lantao Bus. NLB would like to present a fresh image to passengers by the new livery. Both 1/76 and 1/120 NLB ADL Enviro400LH are now available at networkshuttle.com for ordering.

【特別公告】
首先向各位說一聲抱歉，就 1/76 巴士模型生產事宜，明白各位已預訂的朋友苦候多時，雖然早前已私下回應不同朋友的提問，但亦希望在此向各位交代最新狀況。

疫情來到第三年，國內一直未有放寬防疫政策。國內不少區域實行臨時封控，工人流向、物料運輸等均大受影響，廠房停工狀況漸趨頻密，產能大大受阻，當中亦有項目生產出現錯誤，需重新安排生產，多個項目骨牌式延誤。

按目前情況，中巴 LM7 將連同一款尚未公佈的 1/76 巴士模型，預計最快可望於農曆新年前推出，其餘模型則會安排於農曆新年國內長假期後陸續推出。

至於 1/120 及 1/64 模型事宜，由於屬不同廠方負責，延誤情況相對較為輕微。較早前公佈預訂的 1/120 及 1/64 模型已全數推出，廠方亦已著手生產下一款尚未公佈的 1/120 款式。

對於遲遲未能作出相關公告，我們深感抱歉。就預訂產品事宜，我方已重新檢視相關政策，明白各位對我們本次表現期望會有落差，再一次向受影響的朋友致以萬二分抱歉，同時感激友好合作伙伴協調及支持者信任與體諒，我們將會盡快完成訂單，未來新產品亦會適時安排預訂或現貨發售，敬請期待！

石澳巴士總站旁的兩層建築物迄立超過半個世紀，由著名人建築師徐敬直先生所創立的「興業建築師事務所」設計。樓宇於 1955 年以國際現代風格建成，下層設有站長室及乘客候車區域，上層則設有開放式陽台及房間供員工留宿，集多功能於一身。陽台上的英文字體及牆壁上的通風孔，亦經巧妙設計成裝飾藝術，屬 50 年代經典設計，令建築物更俱特色。古物古蹟辦事處於 2013 年將石澳巴士總站建築物評為二級歷史建築，經過六十多年，總站依舊每日運作，提供上落客點予居民及遊客往返石澳及市區

The two-storey building at Shek O Bus Terminus was built in 1955. It was designed by Hsin Yieh Architects, founded by the well-known Chinese architect Su Gin Djih. The building is with a ticketing office and bus shelter on the first floor, and an open balcony and dormitory on the second floor. Running a classic international modern theme, the building features in a balcony fascia with Art Deco lettering and chevron-shaped ventilation holes on the shelter wall, projecting the energetic vibe in the 1950s. In 2013, the building was classified as Grade II historic buildings in Hong Kong by The Antiquities and Monuments Office, and continue to serve the public as a bus stop and a landmark for Shek O Village.

Hong Kong has imposed The Producer Responsibility Scheme on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WPRS) since 2018. Under the scheme, 8 types of regulated electrical equipment (REE) including air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, computers, printers, scanners and monitors must be directed to licensed recycling facilities for proper treatment and recycling, converting waste into resources.
　
ALBA IWS, which is a joint venture company that was established between the recycling specialist ALBA Group from Germany and local solid waste management service provider Integrated Waste Solutions Group Holdings Limited, had entered into a contract with the government to build and operate the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Treatment and Recycling Facility (WEEE·PARK) until 2027. The facility uses state-of-the art technology to process REE into valuable secondary raw materials while controlling the management of the hazardous materials that are contained in this equipment.
　
E-waste Collection Service, a free door-to-door collection service, is offered by ALBA IWS on behalf of the Environmental Protection Department. Public can make appointments simply through hotline or online application to send the electrical items to WEEE·PARK for dismantling and recycling.
